These days I get inspiration from the shapes and textures I see in everyday things around me… the things that most people don’t ever notice: The water stains on a cement wall; the symmetry of a door; the repeating pattern of window panes in a building’s façade; the rust on a nail… for some uncanny reason, these are the types of things I find beautiful and why I try duplicating much of that in my own work. |
